The latest project, just finished!

Log Cabin Lullaby baby quilt;  paper pieced, six inch blocks, made mostly from soft colored fabrics, it seems just right for a baby girl.  The backing is made from the same green print as the outer border.

Now I must get to work and finish the June hope chest things.  We got baby chickens this past week and it has rained almost every day so the hay work is at a standstill; good time to get something done.

(I have a computer fly!  Every time I put my hand on the mouse, he insists on sitting on my fingers!  Drives me crazy because I usually can't see him to use the swat!  I think he's in love with the mouse!  Ever had a computer fly?)

  1. Awe, I love this quilt. We're having flies as well. Every time we open the door they fly in. I believe it's the rainy and humid weather. Take care and don't overdo. Hugs, xo

  6. No--I have never had a computer fly, but living on a farm, I can imagine, oh, maybe, one or two might slip in the door along with the Farmer, LOL The quilt is stunning!!! I no nothing about quilting, but I know, it takes a lot of time, effort and work to produce such a beautiful item.

  8. "Log Cabin Lullaby baby quilt" is a perfect name for your quilt. I can imagine a baby all snug and warm and sleeping peacefully wrapped in it.
I look forward to your next chest addition. It sounds like you all have been busy-busy-busy.
Nope, I've never had a computer fly. I hope your mouse didn't return his love and run off with it. ;)
