with relief! Three months ago my dermatologist wanted to do a biopsy on a tiny spot on my nose. She had removed a skin cancer there before and thought it might be returning, but she allowed me to wait another three months. I have worried myself to death over it, not because of the seriousness of it, but because of the possibility of needing a skin graft, which would mean having to go out of town; you know what that does to a person who is somewhat agoraphobic! Anyway, this morning I kept the three month appointment and she thought it looked o.k. now. It's like a burden has been lifted from my spirits; no more visits until January!
I am fair-skinned and a doctor told me once I should have been a princess instead of a farmer's wife.
So, let's put a little humor in here with portions of my Frank and Ernest cartoons:
Click on the cartoons and have a little laugh!

those were funny - glad you are ok and won't need a skin graft!
ReplyDeleteFunny cartoons and I'm so happy to hear the great news. That would be awfully worrisome to me also. My brother just had one removed from the top of his ear lobe and they had to take a portion of it off.. So happy for you. Hugs,xo
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful news, Charlotte! I'm very happy for you. I enjoyed the cartoons too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful Charlotte. I know how that must have weighed on your heart and mind. God is good!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, so happy that you received such good news!
ReplyDeleteHi Charlotte, we went through the same kind of scare last summer. My dear hubby is covered with freckles and moles. They ended up having to do 12 biopsies on his back some of them were very deep. Poor guy looked like he had been peppered by buckshot. They are all healed up now and we are so happy that we got them before they entered the cancerous phase. I am so happy for you. Have a lovely and restful evening! Delisa :)
ReplyDeleteGood news for you.
ReplyDeleteFunny cartoons!
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
Charlotte,
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful everything turned out great with your doctor's appointment. I'm glad you won't need a skin graft. I know that is a big relief to you. That's fantastic news.
Glad you got good news about your nose. I had to have surgery on my nose for base cell so now go for a full body check once a year. Now I try to wear a hat when outdoors most of the time. Someetimes I look ridiculous! Take care. Nancy
ReplyDeleteWonderful news Charlotte!!
ReplyDeleteI need your email so I can send you something!
Thanks, Carolyn
Good to hear the prognosis is good and the weight is lifted from your mind. I had a melanoma removed several years ago and know the anxiety our little spots can cause.
ReplyDeleteSo good that you are okay! Such funny cartoons! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHA, ha, too funny! So glad you got good news!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord, Charlotte! I'm so sorry you've had to worry about it for this long, though... glad you got good news and you can put that behind you.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the cartoons~ especially the one where the doctor asks which side effects he prefers! *hahaha*
