A Blog No-No?

A couple of days ago I was reading about ways to improve a blog, and the comments left for the post. One person suggested not posting anymore pictures of cats! Now can you imagine that? We love our cats! So, maybe I'm committing a blog no-no, but these are Callie and her adolescent children, otherwise known as my barn kitties. They take after their mother; no picking them up, but I can rub their backs while they are eating. The black and white is my favorite.

So, if you don't like cats, I'm sorry; I won't do it often.

  4. Whoever said that has never been
loved by a cat. I say the more
the merrier and that makes me
want to look at a blog even
    more. Yours are darling.

  5. weird - but then there are dog people and then there are cat people and I have found that a lot of dog lovers do not seem to be cat lovers - I like both!

  8. Those are really unusual-looking calicos, in my opinion, anyway. They are pretty. Maybe you can tame down at least the black and white one.

  9. I've never understood how folks can be so disrespectful of other peoples feelings to say something so thoughtless. :(
I think your cats and kittens are wonderful. I enjoy looking at your cat photos. They're magnificent furbabes. :)

  11. Why would anyone say such a thing! You go ahead and post as many pictures of your cats as you want to! It's your blog and you can do what you want! I LOVE kitties!! Yours are all so cute!

You asked about my paperdolls. I have collected them over several decades. Some of them were bought new, some were given to me, and some were found in vintage shops or online. The fabric came from fabric stores. (Have you seen my paper doll page at the top of my blog under the header? )

I keep many of them in protective sheets in an album, so I can flip through the pages and see them when I want. I do eat off the plates, so that is a display of sorts. I have brought a few out to display on a table or shelf for special occasions, but they are not out year round. ( I have thought about putting some in a frame behind glass, but have not done that yet. )

I hope you will post pictures of your paper dolls. I'd love to see them!! And I'm so glad to have found another paperdoll enthusiast.
