This was the quilt

I had planned to take to the fair. I didn't have a fair schedule to know when entries were to be made, so I'll just put it back and wait for next year. The center blocks are hand pieced, then hand appliqued onto the white, and the flowers are also hand appliqued.

    Beautiful quilt! I'm terribly slow at hand piecing. I'm working on one for our fair...two weeks to go, and it is NOT looking good!

    This quilt had to be lots and lots of work! It is beautiful! Of course, a picture hardly does justice to a quilt. I love to get up close and admire the handiwork that goes into its making. It's a winner for sure!!!
